What is Multimode and Singlemode?

Multimode fiber is used for short runs - less than 2 km (1.2 miles).

Single mode fiber is for long runs; specify 15 km 40 km or 80 km (9, 24 or 48 miles).

Fiber is available with ST or SC style connectors.  Specify which style you are using.
